Such a beautifully done reminder. I've had similair conversations with people who truly dislike being alone and Are unable to enjoy being without other voices, music, or telivision always playing in the background of their lives. I am an Only Child. My mother spent a considerable amount of time teaching me how to enjoy myself alone. I learned that it is important to enjoy my own company. I learned that silence could be soothing and it was okay to enjoy silence as a background for my activities. As a result I enjoy myself...and like my own company. I did the same for my son, also an only child. He has had to work hard with his girlfriend on this and they have revealed to me that they have a a much simpler life than others in their twenties. I think that little video should be a public service announcement. It might help to relieve the stress just a bit in this world if more people could just enjoy who they really are all by themselves!

Alone time is so important for anyone with an imagination (which is everyone) to expand and explore. Didja notice how she never said watch tv? Big applause to her and those brave souls willing to positively be themselves and “go it alone.” Thanks for posting!
